Dead Zone Revive Resource Checklist
Compound and mission mat priorities before every scavenging run.
Resource checklist
Track compound and mission priorities before you deploy.
Compound priorities
Mission priorities
Compound progress stalls when you extract the wrong mats — not when you lose fights. The resource checklist on this page (interactive toggles when enabled) tracks what your base and your next mission need before deploy. Pair it with Schematics, Compound Setup, and Districts and Locations so every sortie feeds a known crafting queue instead of random stash bloat.
How to use this checklist
- Pick one compound priority (defense, production, storage, or bench tier).
- Pick one mission priority (ammo, medical, schematic mats, or bulk scrap).
- Mark items you already stockpile; deploy only for unchecked rows.
- After extract, rebalance storage and update the list.
Early Access may rename resources or disable benches — verify icons in-client and cross-check Early Access Status.
Compound priorities checklist
| Resource / project | Why it matters | Typical source district flavor |
|---|---|---|
| Wood / lumber | Walls, basic buildings | Residential, suburban |
| Scrap metal | Weapons, armor crafts | Industrial, commercial |
| Chemicals | Meds, ammo, advanced mods | Industrial, medical |
| Electronics | Traps, high-tier schematics | Security, office blocks |
| Textiles | Armor, backpacks | Commercial, residential |
| Food / water | Morale, survivor upkeep | Grocery, residential |
| Fuel / power cells | Generators, long travel | Industrial, transit hubs |
| Storage upgrade mats | Prevents extract overflow | Mixed tier 1–2 farming |
| Wall / barricade kits | Raid defense | Crafted + industrial drops |
| Trap components | Engineer holdouts | Industrial, crafted |
Complete at least one defensive row before pushing tier 3 districts — raiders and hordes punish naked compounds.
Mission priorities checklist
| Deploy supply | Minimum target | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Primary ammo (shared calibers) | 2 full stacks per Fighter | Standardize calibers across team |
| Sidearm ammo | 1 stack each | Backup when primary breaks |
| Medkits / stims | 3+ per Medic | Scale with district tier |
| Repair kits | 2+ | Weapon durability on long clears |
| Grenades / explosives | Optional | Combat clears and raids |
| Antidotes / infection cure | 1–2 | Medical districts exposure |
| Food buffs | 1 each | Long missions only |
| Backpack space buffer | 20% empty | Loot runs — see Scavenging Missions |
| Schematic mat carry | As per active recipe | Cross-check Schematics |
| Alliance call consumables | Voice/chat ready | Social missions from Alliances and Raiding |
Schematic queue template
When chasing a blueprint, list inputs explicitly:
| Craft target | Input mats | District to farm | Mission type |
|---|---|---|---|
| Active schematic A | Fill from in-game recipe | Match loot bias | Loot or combat per table |
| Active schematic B | Fill from in-game recipe | Match loot bias | Loot or combat per table |
| Bench upgrade | Compound row above | Rotate tier 1–2 | Loot run |
Replace placeholder rows with live recipe text from your client — we avoid inventing item IDs on the wiki.
Weekly compound rhythm
| Day focus | Compound | Missions |
|---|---|---|
| Mon–Wed | Storage + production bench | Loot runs for bulk mats |
| Thu–Fri | Walls and traps | Combat clears for mods |
| Weekend | Alliance tasks | Raids / group schematics |
Adjust for your play schedule; the rhythm matters more than calendar labels.
When checklist says skip missions
If every mission row is stocked but compound rows are empty, stay home and build. How to Play describes downtime crafting. If compound is secure but schematic inputs lag, run targeted Mission Types instead of generic farming.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for survivors in the Dead Zone.
Should I hoard every resource?
No. Hoard mats for active schematics and the next compound upgrade. Salvage or trade excess grey loot.
What if mission and compound priorities conflict?
Fix compound defense first, then mission consumables, then luxury crafts. Unraidable bases beat shiny guns.
Does the interactive checklist save progress?
Browser toggles reset on refresh unless you copy state locally. Treat it as a session aid.
Where do rare mats drop?
Higher-tier industrial, medical, and security-flavored districts. See Districts and Locations.
How do alliances help resource farming?
Shared tasks, trade, and coordinated district boosts can split mat families across members.
